The American ambassador visits the Telemark Canal

Last Saturday the American ambassador to Norway, Mr Barry B. White and his wife Eleanor visited the Telemark Canal
The ambassador and his guests followed MS Victoria through the Telemark Canal from Skien to Vrangfoss and enjoyed the landscape, the lakes, the canal and the locks. "It has been a very interesting day", says Mr White.The ambassador has earlier visited Ulefoss Jernverk, Rjukan, Skien and Notodden, but this was his first trip on the canal. After disembarking at Vrangfoss the ambassador and his guests continued their trip to Notodden and the Notodden Blues festival.
